BlueHost Censoring then Hacked

In March 2009, Bluehost appeared in a Newsweek article that condemned the hosting company for censoring the web pages of some of their customers…

In February 2011, Bluehost took down a religious website that they were hosting on its servers after receiving thousands of complaints…

In March 2015, Bluehost was hacked by Syrian Electronic Army. Also hacked were Justhost, hostgator, hostmonster, and Fastdomain, all owned by Endurance International Group.

I have seen firsthand the business practices of Bluehost. I also know (due to takeover of ehosts) that Justhost is staffed with unqualified support technicians from multiple tickets. They also require nonsense validation of logged in users. Further, they reset update security services settings to “off”. They reduced the methods of support contact by 50%.

Personally, I will stay away from all Endurance International Group companies, as the customer service and security is lacking. If you use one of their companies for hosting, proceed at your own risk.
