As I mention in the book, you often find terms of use pages and end-user agreements to be full of legalese. The terms here are simple and universal. Use of the site constitutes agreement.
- Any denigration of another by name-calling, bullying, harassment, etc will be investigated upon report to the site admin. If a complaint has merit, the user will be banned from the site. If there is evidence of a real illegal act, such as threats, law enforcement will be involved where applicable. Respect others or don’t post.
- Law Enforcement Agencies asking for user information will have to have the appropriate paperwork from a court with standing in an investigation. Privacy is important and this government agencies have to follow the laws/rules as well.
- I will do my best to filter content that violates terms of use, but it is possible objectional material may not be filtered out. Simply report it for correction.
- Responses will be as quick as possible. No Service Level Agreement (SLA) penalty will apply to unanswered or delayed questions.
- If you prefer to post through site admin, use the contact form. This may add a slight delay but will allow you to post anonymously through a proxy.
